🌟 Activity: “Build It Together”

Habit Focus: Synergize — Together is Better

🎯 Objective

To help participants experience how collaboration, diversity of ideas, and teamwork produce better results than working alone.

25–30 minutes

Teams of 4–6

🧰 Materials

  • 20–30 building items per group (paper cups, straws, tape, paper sheets, clay, lego blocks — anything available)

  • Timer

  • Scoring sheet (optional)


πŸͺ„ Instructions

Round 1 – Work Individually (7 minutes)

Each person builds a tower or structure alone using the material given.
Time: 5 minutes + 2 minutes for display.

Measure: Height, stability, creativity.
(Do NOT announce scoring criteria beforehand — this reveals the power of synergy later.)


Round 2 – Work as a Team (12 minutes)

Participants now combine ideas and materials to build a new, improved structure together.
Time: 10 minutes + 2 minutes for display.

Encourage roles such as:

  • Designer

  • Builder

  • Material manager

  • Time keeper

  • Presenter
